Padelmafia is a concept project exploring how padel players can connect, organize games, and manage tournaments in one place. The platform simplifies event creation, joining, payments, and score tracking—moving communities away from fragmented WhatsApp chats and spreadsheets toward a scalable digital-first solution. As a concept, the project also established an initial visual direction/branding foundation (colors and UI style) to support a cohesive product experience.

(APPROACAH)

The work began with research into existing solutions (e.g., Playtomic) and mapping key player and organizer pain points. Core flows were designed for game creation, joining, score entry, and payments. These were translated into low- and mid-fidelity wireframes for mobile and desktop, then refined into clear UI patterns optimized for quick navigation in live sports contexts. Event details such as perks, player level, and price per person were integrated into the experience, alongside an initial branding layer to unify the interface visually.

(VISION & INNOVATION)

A single platform that replaces fragmented community coordination tools by combining matchmaking, events, tournaments, payments, and score tracking—supporting both casual games and organized competition with a consistent branded experience.

(CHALLENGES)

Padel communities often rely on fragmented tools (chats, spreadsheets, manual payments). Players need a frictionless way to find and join games with filters (level, gender, format). Organizers need streamlined management for payments, perks, and tournaments. Additionally, as a concept, the product required a baseline visual system because there was no established brand direction (colors/visual language) yet.

(PROBLEMS)

Community coordination is scattered across tools, making it difficult to discover and join the right game quickly, manage payments reliably, and track results/tournament progress in one consistent system.

(USER-CENTRIC DESIGN)

The UX is designed around two primary user types:

  • Players who need fast discovery and joining (with filters).

  • Organizers who need operational control (event creation, payments, perks, and tournament management).

(USER NEEDS)

Users needed: a simple way to create and join games, filters for level/gender/format, integrated payments, quick score entry and tracking, and clear event information (perks, levels, price per person)—presented through a coherent visual system.
